It's May already and it feels like spring is almost gone.
The flowering shrubs are finished blooming and the ornamental cherry trees and other flowering trees are finished as well.
Time to weed and mulch and think about planting pots full of flowers for summer.
Time to plant new herbs and catmint and salvias and hydrangeas. Lots and lots of hydrangeas.Time to drink unsweetened iced tea while sitting on the flagstone patio and watching the sunset.
For now I have to finish painting our storage shed, get out the teak furniture and oil it and get ready for summer as it's on the way.
